Great tips! I hadn’t thought of several of these. My personal style is sort of Preppy-Bohemian. I get frustrated when I look on Pinterest for ideas because when I look up bohemian styles, there is sooooo much immodest inspiration that I would never wear and it’s discouraging. Layering is truly helpful! Instead of a tiny crochet crop top over a bohemian maxi skirt, I swap it for a more preppy button down shirt.

Thank you for sharing! You did a good job on the creation of your video. I've had to really rely on layering over the past several years, so I started a collection of layers that have helped me. I have a difficult time keeping my legs warm in the winter, so besides thermals, which you already mentioned, I'll wear fleece-lined and wools leggings, which have become a winter necessity for me. If your legs get cold easily like mine, I would highly recommend a pair of leg warmers. I started wearing leg warmers several years ago and I found a longer pair (thigh-high) to be extremely helpful. Leg warmers are also very accessible and they can be easily removed or added on whenever you need them. The older I get the more I appreciate is a good pair of wool or thermal socks. A long pair of socks can be another layer that can always be easily removed or added on to as well. I've learned to spend the extra money on getting a good quality pair of boots, which can be expensive, but a good investment. I'm already preparing for the fall weather which is right around the corner!

I like the long /full skirts. Leopard prinr,(cherry), red and (dark) green are my favorites. I like western boots and belts. Plad is my favirite too. I like variations in my outfits.

I had a similar skirt from DownEast but it is way too small now after being postpartum (it was a bit snug to begin with) so I just replaced it with a nearly identical skirt from The Main Street Exchange. It just arrived! That swimsuit is gorgeous. I know it’s end of summer now but I really want to look at those swimsuits you mentioned!

I agree, it’s so easy to find good quality “dupes” of the more expensive things nowadays, and multi-purpose products really save space and help with keeping it simple and minimal.
